TILE HILL TOP TEAM
'The Hilltoppers'
Coach: Ian Lord

HW: Razor Ruddock, 44-36-2 [41], starts his fifth season with the Hilltoppers. Has a hell of a whack on him, but is also a bit chinny, which usually makes for an exciting fight. He will be joined by new-boy Riddick Bowe, who looks promising, providing he can stay away from the fridge. Alex Stewart departs.

LHW: A couple of tough nuts make up the LHW's this season. Dwight Qawi, 42-25 [26], will be turning out in his fourth season, and is in the prime of his career. He will be joined by a newcomer in the shape of Steve Collins, who replaces Chic Calderwood.

MW: The middleweights stay the same, with Terry Downes, 42-35-6 [30], and Jock McAvoy, 41-38-7 [26].

WW: The welters are also the same, with team captain and former champ Lloyd Honeyghan, 72-11-4 [42], and Colin Jones, 30-47-3 [20].

LW: Traditionally the strongest division within the THTT, Dave Charnley, tthe former champ who is 73-16-2 [24], and Freddie Welsh, 69-13-4 [13], who both usually get the win but lack any real knockout power.

FW: Terry Spinks returns, who boasts a 34-44-3 [9] record. However, he is joined by the 053-1 Jesus Meneses who was recently picked up of the waivers. Many have questioned coach Lord's sanity. He's in his prime, so he's not going to get any better. Crowd pleaser Johnny Tapia made way for him.

BW: Lionel Rose, 45-37-3 [19], and rookie Jun Magsipoc make up the bantamweights. Along with the feathers is the weakest division in the THTT. Digger Stanlety departs.

FLY: Dave McAuley, 33-43-2 [20], yet again teams up with Young Perez, 36-41-6 [7], who will forever be remembered by Hilltop fans for his shock title victory over Vic Darchinyan.

Outlook: The Hilltoppers are hoping to improve on last season, in which they lost in the conference final to the Bald Beavers. Could do it, providing the team doesn't suddenly grow old over night.
