In a statement from former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, "I'd like to announce my announcement of retirement from the UFC and the Mixed Martial Arts world. I came and conquered. The UFC is trying to buy every single fighters contract so that they can control who they want to see as their champions. They wanted to set up a Cro Cop - Liddell match but that got high-kicked to hell. So the UFC purchases my contract from Pride so that they can publicize another money-making fight. They dont want someone like me representing the UFC. I am too real, my fans are too hardcore and we dont take no shi@! I told Dana White to wait and build me up so that the fight would be more attractive, like me, and would make us more money!
