I would say yes in this situation.
Two runs up, and two runners on (one on third) with one out.
On a hit ball the runner on third will try for home surely. If the pitcher stays near the mound and the catcher drops the ball, the runner from third will try to score on the error and the batter will get to first, and the guy on second will get to third.
If the pitcher comes to make the catch, the catcher can be in place on home plate in case the pitcher drops it and can then flip it to the catcher to keep the runner on 3rd.
Actually, just realised that the ball would be foul, so the batter wouldn't be able to make first would he, but the runner from third could still score?
