Shelburg is back on the scene...

Jeff Shelburg, USA, 1-0-0 (1) vs. Herb Zimmerman, USA, 0-1-0 (0)

After a brief hiatus, Shelburg steps back into the ring for his second pro fight. His handlers wanted to get some training in because his first fight ended so abruptly. There is a “buzz” in the room tonight as the fans are anxious to see if Shelburg can continue to dispatch opponents in such a quick fashion. Well, it looks as though Herb Zimmerman didn’t read the newspaper about the pro debut of his opponent because he came out swinging without any fear of getting hit. This fight has already surpassed the length of Jeff Shelburg’s first fight as the bell rings to end the round. Round 2 is a pretty even round although Zimmerman was warned twice for fouling. Shelburg lands some nice shots, 18-6 and has Zimmerman stunned here in the 3rd. Zimmerman is hurt again in the 4th but responds again by countering the hard shots delivered by his opponent. Shelburg lands a strong hook and Zimmerman is down on his back with 2:40 left in the round. That is it! Another exciting finish to a Shelburg fight. People are starting to notice and are hoping that he can be the next hard-hitting terror to rule the heavyweight division.

Winner: Shelburg

Cards: 38-38, 38-38, 39-37 Shelburg.
Punch Stats: 55.2% - 34.6% Zimmerman
