One problem is that there's a hole in the created birthdates; for a draft in 2007 the highschoolers will be born between 01-01-1989 and 12-31-1990, and the college players between 01-01-1985 and 12-31-1987, leading to a discontinuity at age 18/19 which just doesn't exist in the real draft pool, perhaps due to the presence of repeat entries. It's especially noticeable if the draft happens very early in the year (say, March), as is the issue of having too many 16-year olds.

Edit: BTW, this isn't a problem with feeder leagues...in that case, the game seems to use the exact date of the draft as the cutoff point; i.e. if your college feeder has limits 18-21, the youngest players in the draft will be those who turn 22 exactly on the draft date. Perhaps the fictional draft pool generation should be changed so that it uses the draft date for the boundaries as well, instead of Jan 1st/Dec 31st.
