I think Chris Duffy of the Pirates should have a boost to his defensive ratings based on the above. Currently he is at an 82 for range, the median, and 62 for error, below the median, and a 52 for arm, below the median.
I've heard his arm described as average, so a 52 isn't terrible. His errors should at least be average, if not above...he has a career .988 fielding % and is .998 this year. Also, his range should be phenomenal...that is the most impressive part of his game. I'd put him near the top on that.
On the other hand, Jason Bay has an arm of 63, above the 59 median for LF. His arm can only be described as a noodle, so I'd lower that to below the median.
Also, if you're looking for current day updates, Rajai Davis should be up from AAA and Salomon Torres on the DL.
