Attendance goes up when someone who is very close to a milestone/the #1 spot all-time in something/a single season record/a future Hall-of-Famer is on one of the teams playing that game.
Reason
Gives incentive for GMs to sign otherwise useless, formerly great players, boosting fan interest. Or if Bonds comes to down, whatever stadium will be packed. If Roger Clemens has a AA assignment, the AA stadium will be filled.
