Old standby Bass of course. Some great american ales include Sierra Nevada, Red Tail, Anchor Steam and the aforementioned Boulevard Pale Ale. Not sure how available any might be in your local store.
Theese are the american ales they carry on shelf:

* Anchor - Several varieties
* Brooklyn - Several varieties
* Dead Guy
* Hibernation
* Liberty
* Old Stock
* Red Seal
* Samuel Adams - Several varieties
* Sawtooth
* Sierra Nevada - Several varieties.

I look forward to tasting them.
