The first full week of June saw the Broncos conclude a three game series in Memphis, then return home to face those very same Grizzlies for another three games, and then begin a four game set against the Royals. Memphis proved troublesome, as the Broncos wound up losing four of the six games. They bounced back from that, however, and took the first two games of the series with Kansas City.
Ellis Bolling's bat spent the week battering baseballs, as he went 8 for 23 with 7 doubles and 7 RBI.
Asbel Fuentez went 8 for 16 and scored 5 runs.
Kenny Pillsbury continued his fine season by winning both of his starts, posting a 0.53 ERA, and throwing a complete game shutout against Memphis.

There is a new all time leader in hits, and his name is Santiago Serrato. Serrato has been a magnificent player for many years, and will certainly go down as one of the greatest centerfielders of all time, if not
the greatest. Having the most hits ever is just some icing on the cake for him.
