Due to a car accident involving a deer playing chicken with my car and the fact that April produced ALOT of newsworthy stories - there was a delay in my posting. My apologies. I have also broken April into 2 parts, and will have a seperate post for the April standings and league leaders. What would be better, a screen shot of the leaders and standings or the coded box version?

DeBarr would give up 4 hits and 2 runs in the inning.

However it would be for not, as the Royals would score a run in the bottom of the frame on a Freddie Patek (.250, 2 RBI) sacrifice fly against
Sparky Lyle (1-1, 6.75 ERA) to win the game.
Apr 12 - Quickly adapting to the rules of the game, the Blue Jays send 38-year old RF

Texas pitcher Gaylord Perry (1-1, 1.59 ERA) gets his first win of the year against the Indians as he blanks his former team, allowing just 2 hits in a 3-0 win.
