This is probably a waste of time since you said somewhere that you aren't looking to make any major GUI changes on the next version, but I've got to get it off my chest, so here goes...

I play solo as GM, almost always auto-playing season after season. I love handling the player development features and only rarely interfere with the manager's lineups and rotations. What bugs me the most about this game (and since I play hour after hour, day after day, season after season - "bug" is a relative term) is that once I hit the auto-play button, I am nothing more than outsider looking in. The screen I am given to watch what is going on has absolutely nothing to do with my team. I am just the average baseball fan watching the sports page's standings, headlines and league leaders.

I would much prefer auto-play give me a screen that shows me how my guys are doing - pitchers and hitters in real time. What lineup and rotation changes the manager is making. Who is DTD or tired or injured as it happens instead after some set period of time or some arbitrary event occurs. I should be sittiing in the general managers office the entire time auto-playing is whirring along, and I should be able to instantly stop auto-play at the push of a button so I can respond to something I see.

I also wish it was a little easier to stop auto-play during the off-season.

That is my gripe. I am a little surprised noone has ever mentioned it before. Maybe I am the only one that plays the game this way.
