And I didn't answer one of your questions! A player with very low OVR ratings and very high POT ratings would be considered a high-risk, high-reward prospect. If his POT ratings are sky-high, he certainly has a chance to develop into a superstar, but if his OVR ratings are nowhere near his POT, a lot could happen to prevent him from reaching his ceiling. Definitely a guy to stash in the minors and hope for the best, or if you're risk-averse, trade him for an established star, and hope the prospect doesn't turn into the next Babe Ruth.
