Ok. Since the last (above notice) I did a workaround of sorts by creating a new manger for Parent team (Milwaukee) and attacked the team culprits (st. Paul) by making some roster maneuvers making sure i cleared down the count on all rosters. When I advanced on the magic date of April 1 ....another Minor league team pops up with the same error message " ..has an illegal number of players on the active roster" - This time however the number is (0).

This is crazy. because the crash is always occurring on the same date. I'm reluctant to go further back into my backups to find a solution. Could this problem been latent from several seasons ago???

I should note that I'm in year 2011 from a solo league that began from 2004 stats. I originally started out from version 6.5 I believe. I do not play in commissioner role, nor is there any mods to the game. The PC did not crash nor was a plug pulled in order to avoid saving a session or during a simulation update.
