Game #4 – San Diego [3-0] (D. Sarfate 0-0, 0.00 ERA) at Milwaukee [0-3] (D. Bush0-0, 0.00 ERA)

A interesting matchup; our best pitcher in 2007 D. Bush faces D. Sarfate who pitched for our AAA affilate Nashville last season and was eventually picked up in the Rule V draft by San Diego. I'd say Sarfate showed last season he is not good enough for the big league, but let's wait and see:

SS C. Izturis - CF S. Victorino - LF R. Braun - 1B P. Fielder - 3B B. Hall -
RF G. Gross - 2B R. Weeks - C J. Estrada

There won't be many words about this game. Sarfate had a one hitter through six innings. The Padres had 20 hits, we had 4. To make everything worse Freddy Garcia was injured and will be out up to two weeks.

We decided to place Garcia on the DL and called up Carlos Villanueva from Nashville. Nashville received Mike Jones from Huntsville as replacement for Villanueva from Huntsville.
