I agree. If we sack Rafa or he tires of the politics and walks, the Spanish job is available from next summer (Aragones is retiring, regardless of results). Six years in the role, 2 world cups with a young exciting Spanish squad, before he gets the Real Madrid job for a few years before retirement. I hope it doesn't happen, but...
Benitez is hugely admired throughout Europe, except in England where the press have never warmed to him.
