Me too.
I'm having essentially the same issue. I don't have much experience with troubleshooting and how to get these sorts of issues rectified, but I've had my league crap out at the two-year mark several times now as well.
I don't know how much this helps - but these problems aren't isolated to the original poster. I was really hoping the final patch would deal with this, but to no avail. It's a terrific game, but this is a huge problem and one that has made the game basically unplayable for me.
