Any data-based mod will work fine on a Mac- i.e. you can use any roster set, photopack, etc. Any software-style utilities (like redsoxford's importer programs) are almost certain to be PC-only, however.

I should add- many Mac users have had crashes using certain roster sets because of FaceGen (even in roster sets that don't seem to have any faces), so I'd recommend disabling FaceGen from Game --> Preferences if you're using a pre-made roster set on a Mac.
