I understand the mechanics of trading. And I'm somewhat familiar with the waiver system.

But how do you get enough guys together to trade for a better player in a needed position.

Do you buy a bunch of free agents, and then trade them away?

I don't see how it would make sense to trade like 2 or 3 Major Leaguers for just 1 replacement. You'd have less players than what you started with.

Any tips on working trades would be greatly appreciated.

This game is so cool, but all I know how to do now is adjust the lineups and manage the play by play.
