May 2008 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche
16th May 2008
The only goal we have today is carry on our great streak, beating the Astros once more and pass them in the standings.
Game #38 – Houston [19-18] (J. Jennings 3-0, 3.49 ERA) at Milwaukee [19-18] (Y. Gallardo 2-3, 3.48 ERA)
SS C. Izturis - 2B R. Weeks - LF R. Braun - 1B P. Fielder - 3B B. Hall - RF G. Gross - C J. Estrada - CF T. Gwynn Jr.
Neither Jennings nor Gallardo had their stuff. But Jennings suffered from the power bats of Naughty Chow Fielder and Calamity Braun, two double plays with the bases loaded helped our young Mexican starter. But the game was despite a 5-3 lead not won yet. Closer Fujita allowed the potential tying run to reach third with two outs and a hitters count, before madman Lopez tried to steal home.
