pretty sure they are very different in the fact that Cubby's rosters will be as of today and essentially headed into this upcoming season; while the other set is for this past season as of 1/1/07. Both are probably outstanding, while I would guess the quickstart has probably been tested more for it's long-term use...but not sure. I'm a cubfan and budman, so I anxiously await the next Cubby release.

To get rid of the logos you can just go into OOTP folder within My Documents/data and either delete all of the logos out of the 'logos' folder, or move them somewhere else for safe keeping.
If they aren't in there, then check the : OOTP/data/saved_games/yourleaguefolder.lg/news/html/images : folder.
