Oscar Bonavena has together with his manager stated that he wants a rematch and a suspension of the referee, saying it was the most ridicolous decision they had ever seen. The low blow was pretty clear, the question is whether it should be enough to stop a fight as i didn't look to planned. It did look like an accident. Neither Billy Daniels or his manager had any comments.

It has been decided that the three top fights next month will be put into a fight card. The main event will as expected be the IBF championship fight, Jerry Quarry v Dave Zyglewicz. The Co-main has been decided to be the European championship fight between Albert Westphal and Billy Walker. The third big fight, Leotis Martin v Bob Foster has been put into the card as a support bout.

The ring top 10 - May:
1. Joe Frazier
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Jerry Quarry
4. Gregorio Peralta
5. Buster Mathis
6. George Chuvalo
7. Al Jones
8. Leotis Martin
9. Dave Zyglewicz
10. Billy Daniels

Changes: Oscar moves out after his DQ loss. Billy moves up to 10. The reason he doesn't go further up is that it was a mistake by Oscar, not a good fight from Billy. In fact he had lost all three rounds before the 4th when Oscar got DQ'ed.
