June 2008 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche
24th June 2008
Now it's up to Brandon Webb to pace us into a tie with the Cubs. Their team is not the same as in game 1 after they were busy trading last night.
Game #74 – Chicago [39-34] (A. Guzman 9-3, 2.50 ERA) at Milwaukee [38-35] (B. Webb 0-1, 7.43 ERA)
SS A. Escobar - CF J. Upton - 3B R. Braun - 1B P. Fielder - RF G. Gross - C. J. Estrada - LF S. Victorino - 2B O. Infante
Brandon Webb had without doubt his best outing as a Brewer, but was yet far below expectations. Neither he nor Guzman got the decision in today's game. It looked as Elmer "Victoria" Dessens would lose his first game since 2006, but the game should develop into a nightmare for the Cubs newly acquired lefty Kuo who gave a 2-RBI two out double to Victorino. The Japanese combo Otsuka/Fujita closed the door and lead us to a tie with the Cubs.
