Glasgow, Scotland - Before a boisterous mob at Kelvin Hall, Canada's Bud MacEachern put on the best performance of his career, punching out the lights of former world title-holder Luigi Musina in six rounds. Musina seemed to have no answer for MacEachern's wild overhand right which landed repeatedly from the second round on with devastating effect. Musina was hurt badly in the fifth just before the bell, and the Cape Breton Kid finished the job with seconds gone in the sixth. A left hook was the finisher. Fans of the dark haired Canuck battler are sure this win will propel him into the top ten.
