We activated SS Cesar Izturis from the DL. 21 year old Alcides Escobar (.307, 0 HR, 10 RBI, 8 SB) batted .333 during his absence. Even if 2B Luis Rivas (.054, 0 HR, 2 RBI) collected his second hit of the season, he's sent down to AAA.

Trade:

The Buffalo Blizzards sent 28-year old starting pitcher Rich Hill (3-8, 5.23 ERA) to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for 23-year old minor league C Gilbert Buenrostro (.292, 3 HR, 25 RBI - AAA).
