The main problem most have with it (and I can understand), is that under this plan, clubs would play one other club three times in league play. That's fine for whomever draws a Birmingham City three times, but what about those that draw Arsenal/United for a third time?

My fix would be to nix the 39th fixture and just play one of the existing 38 fixtures on foreign soil. Additionally, spread these foreign matches out throughout the year so that one full set of matches isnt played outside of England at the same time.
