Its the year 1895 and we are now planning to award the first title belt. The initial year of fights was 1890, the tomato cans put up some tough competition but the real stars managed to shine through. We have chosen 4 fighters from the 8 original weight classes based upon WBC rankings to fight for the title in a single elimination tournament beginning January 1895. After the title tournament we will begin our regular schedule of fight cards. Each fight card will consist of 3 H.O.B.O. fights and 3 club level fights.
