This was an amazing fight with both fighters throwing lots of punches and working a good defense. Walcott went down in the fourteenth round for the only knockdown of the fight.

Young Corbett won a unanimous decision

Mysterious Billy Smith 18-0-0 (8) v/s Tommy Ryan 16-0-0 (11)

Surprisingly this fight went the distance. Ryan handled Smith throughout the whole fight and even scored two knockdowns, one in the seventh and the other in the fourteenth.
