August 2008 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche
14th August 2008
Game 2 will be very important. We can't afford a losing streak now, but giving the start to Yovani Gallardo (nobody else is rested) doesn't increase my confidence. We just hope that our bats come finally alive.
Game #119 –Milwaukee [65-53] (Y. Gallardo 6-8, 4.40 ERA)at Chicago [64-54] (A. Guzman 12-6, 2.92 ERA)
2B H. Iribarren - CF J. Upton - LF R. Braun - 1B P. Fielder - C J. Estrada - RF G. Gross - 3B M. Reynolds - SS A. Escobar
Gallardo prooved me very wrong and delivered one of his best performances of the summer. The Mexican pitched seven strong innings and got good help from our offense today. The Cubs were as helpless today as we were yesterday.
