February 1101
The big news this month was that following his successful bout against the statue of a bear (we would say this isn't saying much but an awful lot of the younger group have lost to it), Axegrinden Brown made a foolish statement about the Normans. To be precise, he said that the Saxons could lick them any day of the week if they had horses and good armor. As a result, Brown will be given other duties besides fisticuffs for the next 90 days. Duties such as cleaning the club latrine. That ought to show him.
Inter-club
---------------
Axegrinden Brown (Y) 11-2-0 7 def. Statue of a Bear 8-15-1 6 by KO-6
Brown hath never gotten the chance to fight the statue before and floored it thrice.
Christopher Erskine 8-0-0 4 (S) def. Sebastian Turberville 4-3-2 4 (L) by TKO-7
Erskine, the newly crowned Scottish champion, does equally well in London.
London
---------------
Brad Sewell 7-0-0 (6) def. Frazer Purdy 3-8-0 (1) by TKO-2
Purdy's looking mighty unstoppable in the London Club.
Scotland
---------------
Ryan MacBrayne 1-7-1 def. Cameron Matheson 3-5-0 1 by decision
MacBrayne scores a bit of an upset and evens his lifetime record vs. Matheson.
York
---------------
Garfield Randull 7-1-0 4 def. Coelmund Withy 5-4-0 3 by decision
That's Withy's 2nd decision loss in two months. Too bad.
Hrothwulf Hambleton 5-3-0 4 def. Tondhere Mailes 5-1-0 3 by decision
Mailes will be a good fighter some day, but he probably took this fight too soon.
