Too many players retire 'no matter what' after a certain point in the game. Ive had Cy Young call it quits after a OOTP 25-3 season (1903). Thats a whole lotta wins short. They only way I can get him to 1911 is freeze his age for a while. So I don't think Pops would make it even with the additional stats.
I know I wanted to try and create a database of only players who had 10 years (or more) of ML experience, then take a number of years (out of the middle of their history) to create the players career. Maybe NL players would be even years and AL players would be odd years.
This game is just too much fun.......and one of these day's I will make it past 1920.
