I just read on the main board that one of the new features of OOTP 09 is MLB 2008 rosters. Just curious how this works.

I was under the impression that all games that used the Lahman database were stuck with a roster that existed at the end of the last full year (i.e. 2007). So is it normal for OOTP games to have up to date rosters built in as oppsed to having to load a after market mod (e.g. Cubby Fan's Rosters)

Obviously, if I could get the game with current MLB rosters, I would definitely buy it since all the created players, stats, etc would be "officially" from the game developer.
