Just ran a test and it seems like you indeed cannot force a post-deadline trade in commish mode. Like you, I also found that players with minor league contracts and not on the secondary roster need to pass through waivers. So now I'm just stuck trying to figure out why I'm so darn sure it shouldn't work this way. Anyone know if this is the way it works in MLB?
