As a silent observer, I would guess the reason it never got off the ground was simply the "one season" and done philosophy. I'm sure many would have been intrigued/interested about the daily sim, but where's the incentive if you end up with a team that's not very good. There's no point in building anything for the future (spects, picks, etc.) if you know come season end your team is "erased" anyway.
Why were you going to handle it that way anyway? Just curious, not critical.
