Beta Baseball entering its 22nd season!

We are looking for owners entering our 22nd season. If you're looking for a solid, established league rather than one that's likely fold within the month, this might be the place you're looking for. We are a small fictional league using talents only, simulating three times a week and using settings that somewhat mirror the 1970's (4-man rotations, below average scoring environment). We are holding our amateur draft tomorrow night, so if you want in on that, join up quick! Here are our available teams:

Maisonneuve Marauders

One of the 4 very good teams in their league, the Marauders feature a wide array of stars, as they have both the defending batting champion and defending MVP (and best player in his league), respectively Blue Blue Lean and Gregory Gardiner. It won't be easy controlling the financial predicament these guys are in, but if that can be done, this team is more than respectable.

***Taken*** George Falls Barons

George Falls is a young team with a nice amount of cash, so it's not really in trouble. Its ace is one of the top prospects in the league. If you're the type who likes a challenge and start a team from the ground up, this team's for you. Plus, it plays in the Bordurian League, where the top isn't as clogged up as the Axelite League. George Falls is a prestigeous franchise (pinstripe-wearing and all) that went to the Alpha (that's what we call our "World Series") 7 times in our 21-year existence. If you're looking to build from the ground up, this is a great place to start.

The Pines Verts

The Pines is another bottom-dweller, but things are looking up for them. It has a good young core that's on the verge of breaking out, but OOTP ranks it as the last in the Axelite League as far as the minor league system goes. Considering the forces in presence in the Axelite League, this team likely won't win in the near future. - at least not without your intervention .

Skojpp Bombers

Skojpp was very great 2-5 years ago, but had trouble last year. They are a very old team, and they are financially struggling. They play in an extreme home runs' park, if that's your thing. If you like star players, this is a great place - although I suppose if you don't, you can always trade them away and rebuild . They have a really cool uniform, in my opinion - its template was the early 80's White Sox!

Proletarian Knot Sfeer

Proletarian Knot is an up-and-coming franchise. It's struggling financially, sadly, but it can count on one of the two best pitchers in the league. If you want to win right now, it might be your best bet... although it still won't be easy since they finished 18 games back, in 2nd place, last year. Possibly the best team available right now, but if you're the type who likes to start from the ground up or likes a real challenge, you might want to look elsewhere in the league. And, since I've mentioned uniforms before, theirs is really ugly - think an amateur version of IKEA.
