Second Finalist Determined

The second bout of the semifinals commenced after a short intermission.

John Holman (4-0 2) vs. Jeremy Williams (4-0 3) – Holman had decisioned Johnny Paychek in a close contest, and his Floridian Muckboys were ready to cheer! Williams had had a monster 9th round to KO Leo Nolan in what had been a close contest.

Williams came out in the feeling-out 1st and socked Holman with a double hook, and then a solid one to the head! Holman smiled and shook his head and waded in, landing 2 crosses that had Jeremy backing up! It was a boom-boom start to what promised to be a great fight!

Then Williams stepped in and, with brilliant hand speed, landed a seven punch combination, head, head, body, head, body, head, head! Holman dropped to the canvas after this ferocious assault. In 10 seconds, it was over, Holman’s fans shocked as he was counted out, Williams the winner by a KO at 2:17 of the 1st round! Holman had almost made it back up to his feet, but collapsed from the cumulative effect of that combination!

The Muckboys were stunned by this quick stoppage, but later showed their support for their champion with a rousing cheer as he was led from the ring! Jeremy Williams will advance to the finals with this impressive first round KO! And John Holman will jockey for position to challenge the champion!
