Before today's game we activated SS Cesar Izturis from the DL. IF Hernan Iribarren (.158, O HR, 0 RBI) was sent back to Nashville. He was never near in filling in the hole Izturis left.

I played this game on my flight from Amsterdam to Oslo. Maybe I should have slept instead. Chris Capuano got hammered right from the beginning: he allowed six baserunners of which three homered. He settled down in the 2nd, but the game was more or less decided. We were able to but some pressure on the Astros bullpen in the sixth and seventh, but it doesn't help when you leave the bases loaded. The Astros swept us at home and the way we performed recently, there's no chance we make the playoffs.
