However, do you want to take that title defense or wait for a world title shot which he would be either 1st or 2nd in line for (besides Mike Tyson). If Calzaghe were to accept a fight for a world title, he would have to relinquish his two regional belts. If he were to make the mandatory EBU defense and lose, that would drop him down for a world title shot. Just some info for you to think about.
