Puresim is a good game. I like it. I like OOTP too. Im looking forward to seeing what they can do. Im sure Ill get both.
Shaun came out of his semi-retirement already and released a patch a few days ago. That brought the game up to version 1.71 (after going through versions 1.70, 1.70b,c,d,e,f,g,and h) and added supposrt for the 2007 stats in the Lahman DB, tweaked some importing algoriths, added a 40 man roster size, and a few other tweaks. Its certainly not as sophisticated, with less options than OOTP though, although if you know VB, or C# you can created some add-ins for some extra stat-tracking.
I play in an online Puresim league and aside from a few offseason money quirks having to do with free agents, its been great. Very easy to do and very enjoyable from an owners point of view.
I spend more time with my historical leagues using OOTP

Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.
