This is just a silly thing to say. He never mocked the hitter. He was excited to get a big strikeout. And it was a big one.

I can see what RichW was saying, though. It's not just a fist pump but a spin around dance and loud bellowing, if the open mouth is any indication. It's over the top, but he's still technically a rookie. He'll learn some etiquette and still keep the fires burning.

If not that, then like I said he will realize that veteran players act like they already know that they're great since they've done it before, so why celebrate so hard? Be cool to look cool.
