World Series Champ, Some Notes, Expansion Draft(!), and Award Winners

The 2000 World Series went to the Chicago White Sox over the San Diego Padres in a 4-0 sweep. The Padres have been to 3 out of the 4 World Series thus far and gone 1-2.

Some off-season notes: I will be changing the schedule of AAA to A to 140 games. I will also be changing the High School/College schedules to 70 games with 40 man rosters to allow for more players to see accurate playing time.

We submitted our protection list. Here are the award winners...
AL Silver Slugger: David Ortiz (Minnesota) hit .317/.390/.611 in 617 AB with 44 HR and 144 RBI. Also had 7 SB in 9 attempts.
NL Silver Slugger: Chipper Jones (Atlanta) hit .346/.456/.635 in 564 AB with 39 HR and 116 RBI. Also had 120 BB and 24 SB in 31 attempts.
AL Cy Young: Kevin Appier (Kansas City) went 17-8 with a 3.29 ERA in 240.2 IP. Also had 229 K vs. 88 BB.
NL Cy Young: Greg Maddux (Atlanta) went 20-11 with a 2.68 ERA in 275.1 IP. Only had 37 BB all season.
AL Rookie of the Year: Albert Pujols (Texas) hit .341/.421/.662 in 352 AB with 27 HR and 89 RBI. Also had 50 BB vs. 48 K.
NL Rookie of the Year: C.C. Sabathia (Milwaukee) went 10-3 with a 2.98 ERA in 129.2 IP. Also had 127 K vs. 64 BB.
