Overall, not a bad opening series. The Jays look to have a pretty tough pitching staff, so it's not too surprising that the Yanks only scored 8 runs. Still, they won 2 out of 3 and the pitching staff looked pretty strong. Great outings by Hughes & Wang. Chamberlain and Rivera giving us a 1-2 punch we haven't seen since Rivera and Wetteland. The only bad outing was by the guy who we all expected it from, Mussina.
I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do against the up and coming Rays. Should be a very interesting series.
