A big week for Boston has them only a game behind Cincinnati in the standings. This week sees the Red Caps visit Cleveland (two games) and Syracuse (one game), while Cincinnati takes on Troy (one game) and Chicago (two games).

Cap Anson is on pace to have a truly historic season in Boston. With the season nearing the halfway point, he currently has the 11th-best season of all time by VORP. At this pace, he'll have the greatest season of all time sometime in early August. He leads the batting race by 66 points, has 80 hits (there is only one other player with more than 67 - his teammate Cal McVey),
