August 2008 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche
29th August 2008
Back home! Hopefully that losing streak was related to airplanes and Norwegian potatoes? A winning series against the Diamondbacks is a must. Ben Sheets hasn't been a hit at Arizona so far and rumour has it that he will fill for free agency after the season.
Game #133 –Milwaukee [71-61] (D. Bush 14-7, 3.11 ERA) at Arizona [69-63] (B. Sheets 5-5, 4.65 ERA)
SS C. Izturis - CF J. Upton - 1B P. Fielder - LF R. Braun - 2B M. Reynolds - RF G. Gross - C J. Estrada - 3B M. Gamel
As usual we saw the opponent taking the lead, but at least we showed some fighting spirit today. We managed to tie the game in the top of the 7th and 9th. But then the Diamondbacks scored the winning run with full count and two outs in the bottom of the ninth. With loss Nr. 7 we tied our losing streak from the beginning of the season.
