Wang has no problem being an ace. He ran into some problems in September last year, and they carried over into the post season. They've worked with him with pitch selection, and is now mixing up his go to pitch so its not as predictable. Young pitchers sometimes fall into patterns, luckily they nipped this in the bud ASAP!
Man, as good as Joba looks in the pen, I am excited to see how he can do as a starter. I agree with Joe, it'll probably be right after the all-star break. There is no need to rush him, other then the fact that Mussina is, well, Mussina. Kennedy will be fine, not sure if you all caught that game, but the umpire was giving him absolutely no calls. Really, it was awful. I can see how that can be wearing on a young SP making his first start in what could be his first full season. Don't rush to judgment on him.
As far as the pen goes, man, it looks like the kiddies will be the go to ones and Farnsworth and Hawkins will become the mop up dudes, lol. I was sad to see them send that guy down when they activated Pettitte. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they signed Hawkins for a one year deal.
I like how Girardi has managed the pen so far as well. I already see an improvement

Tho, in all honesty, I could have managed the pen better.
Anyone who said Giambi getting injured before Mussina gets pulled wins the pool!!!
