September 2008 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche
3rd September 2008
Game #137 – Los Angeles [72-64] (J. McDonald 12-10, 3.73 ERA) at Milwaukee [73-63] (B. Webb 5-6, 3.58 ERA)
2B C. Izturis - CF J. Upton - LF R. Braun - 1B P. Fielder - C J. Estrada - 3B M. Reynolds - RF G. Gross - SS A. Escobar
We got Webb the best possible support by loading the bases with no outs in the first, but as usually we struggled with runners in scoring position taking only a two run lead. The Dodgers tied the game in the second, but we broke free the two following innings scoring combined nine runs. Webb wasn't impressive but went seven innings to collect the W. As we used spot starter Cook for the two final innings, our bullpen will be completely rested tomorrow.
