We took an early 2-0 in the first as Peavy had a cold start. The Padres ruined Villanueva's solid outing with a three run homer in the fourth. But we were able to strike back two runs in the fifth and seven innings. San Diego started a rally in the ninth and closer Fujita needed an game ending double play to escape from trouble.
