September 2008 - Milwaukee Brewers
Manager and GM Fritsche
10th September 2008
Only three weeks to go this season and I'm thrilled. Sadly much work next week, so no baseball at all from Tuesday to Friday? But now we are aiming to sweep the Giants. Looks like they'll give four september call ups a start tonight.
Game #144 –San Francisco [69-74] (B. Hennessey 2-2, 4.30 ERA) at Milwaukee [80-63] (C. Capuano 16-6, 4.15 ERA)
SS C. Izturis - CF J. Upton - LF R. Braun - 1B P. Fielder - C J. Estrada - 3B M Reynolds - RF S. Victorino - 2B O. Infante
A strange game in which the Giants pitcher Hennessey hit a decisive three run homer. We were never able to close the gap and our winning streak came to a deserved end. Omar Infante gashed his cheek in the first inning and is listed day-to-day.
San Francisco at Milwaukee: 2-6
W: B. Hennessey (3-2); L: C. Capuano (16-7)
H: S. Linebrink (10)
HR: B. Hennessey (1), L. Niekro (1) / -
SB: M. Sanders (6), A. Richardson (12) / -
CS: - / J. Upton (14)
E: J. Leone (1) / M. Reynolds (11)
MoM: L. Niekro - 2/5, 1 R, HR, RBI
