I didn't see Cotto let up at all. He was extremely confident and it showed. Damn did he look fast. As hard as Gomez was getting hit I knew he wouldn't quit. I think fighters don't realize the damage they take until the fight is over with Cotto. I think if you round up the guys he's fought they'll all tell you he hits like a mule.
I've never seen Cotto so confident. The way he whipped back his jab hand after a shot was pretty.
I love Cotto. Man crush haha.
As far as Margarito. Why would Cotto not defeat him? He out classes him in every category and has fought similiar fighters. Plus, Paul Williams beat him, and as far as I'm concerned Cotto would bring Williams to the clinic.......my 2 cents.
