Donnie Walsh was a very good hiring and I expect him to take the coaching hiring process seriously.
I still think Isiah Thomas would work great as a Scouting Director working hand-in-hand with Walsh and evaluating the draft picture and it's prospects.
Thomas knows how to find players that can perform in the NBA Level. But, I'd save his recommendations for the second round. You don't want someone that "clever" to pick a high pick. He'd just mess it up.
Nice to know that the Knicks will finally take advantage of their losing record and get somebody good from the college level.
