Maybe having a bruised cheekbone could lead to part of your sight being blocked. And I'm not sure what could happen if the cheekbone is impacted again. I don't know, I've never suffered it.
Oddly though, most of the search in Google for "bruised cheekbone baseball (or MLB)" comes up with OOTP online leagues.
